Xcode 3.2 Feature Overview

General

Xcode is included in the Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard DVD. You can also download it from http://developer.apple.com/mac/.

Software requirements: Xcode 3.2 runs on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard and later.

Project Management

Xcode’s project-management capabilities have been enhanced to provide you with a better user experience and improved flexibility.

Workspace

The Xcode workspace has been improved to enhance your development experience.

Documentation Access

Xcode provides you with fast access to documentation through an improved and streamlined Documentation window and Quick Help (a revamped implementation of the Research Assistant).

Debugging

Xcode debugging improvements support debugging of programs running on iOS-based devices.

SCM

Xcode SCM capabilities have been enhanced with automatic synchronization of offline Subversion operations. Operations you perform while disconnected from the repository are synchronized when the connection is re-established.
