Annual Fundraiser
Pierogi Demonstration and Luncheon
Presentation of the “Golden Valashka” Award to Jack Poloka

St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church
1900 Brooks Boulevard
Hillsborough, NJ

Trained chef/caterer, Ted Petrock, will give a pierogi-making demonstration that will be followed by a luncheon of delicious ethnic food that he has prepared. The Chapter’s “Golden Valashka” award will be presented to Jack Poloka for his contributions to Rusyn culture. Tickets will be sold during the event for a door prize and 50/50 raffle. Rusyn costumes will be on display and there will be Rusyn items available for purchase.

This event provides the NJ Chapter with the funds it needs to be able to produce its programs, most of which are free to its members.

Directions: The church is located less than a mile from the intersection of Route 206 and Brooks Boulevard. Route 206 is accessible from Routes 287, 202, 78 or 22. If you are traveling south on 206, you must pass Brooks Boulevard and proceed to the jug handle. Turn left at the traffic light at the end of the jug handle to return to Brooks, turn right and proceed to the church which is on the left.
