C-RS LAKE ERIE CHAPTER MEETING

Mercyhurst College, Erie, Pa., 2:00 p.m.

You are cordially invited to attend the first meeting of the "Lake Erie Chapter" of the Carpatho-Rusyn Society for eastern Ohio, Northwestern Pennsylvania, and Western New York at Mercyhurst College, Erie, Pennsylvania.

The meeting will explore the villages of the Rusyn region.

Participants may be from the Lemko Region now in Poland, or former Spis, Sarys, or Zemplyn districts or Presov region of Slovakia, or Transcarpathia now in Ukraine and Romania.

Those who have traveled can share memories of their village, and describe their homeland to those who have never been there. A map of all these villages will be created. Attendees are asked to bring several photos of their village to show. Carpatho-Rusyn Society members are asked to invite family who still live in this region.

DIRECTIONS:
From Pittsburgh: I-79 North to I-90 East to Erie, Exit 27. 130 miles.
From Buffalo: I-90 West to Erie, Exit 27. 95 miles.
From Cleveland: I-90 East to Erie, Exit 27. 95 miles.

From Exit 27 (State Street Exit)
Take Rt. 97 North for one mile to Jct. 505. Veer right and continue on Rt. 97 North (Old French Road) to East 38th Street. Turn right - east, four blocks to Mercyhurst College, 214 Zurn Hall. Use D'Angelo-Zurn Hall parking lot.
