Sunday, December 8 "Songs My Mother Taught Me" - Enjoy music of our heritage as we teach each other songs of the Rusyn region. Area resident George Wasko will accompany us with his violin and melodies of songs his mother taught him. You can also lead your familiar tune from the Carpathian Mountain region of Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine and Romania. Bring songsheets from October, plus your memories of favorite songs and we'll share music together! Also, write down your favorite Christmas custom on a 3x5 card and we can share holiday memories. We'll collect these for a future project. If you have words to songs, call ahead so we can type or make copies!
