Jakub is a documentary film about the people of a Rusyn village in the Maramuresh mountains in northern Romania who relocated to the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia after World War II. The film was made over a period of five years during the time of both totalitarian regimes and was completed in 1992 after the revolution.
