FAQs

What is this subscription thing?

Computers and operating systems are changing almost daily. [Big surprise, huh?] We knew that anything we created could easily become outdated as Apple made its moves into the future with things like Mac OS X and Carbon. We knew that shipping a compiler and then waiting a year or two to produce an update would not be in the best interest of our customers.

That is why FB^3 is now sold by subscription. For a period of one year, you will get free updates in the mail on CD. Anything we add to the compiler is yours at no charge. Any programming utilities that we create are also yours for free. We are even fattening up our Donations folder to provide huge gobs of source code for difficult programming tasks. You're gonna love this product and you are going to look forward to each new release.

At the end of a year -- if you want to -- you can resubscribe and get another year's worth of upgrades. If you choose not to, your compiler will not time out and your code will not cease to operate. You just won't receive additional updates unless you renew your subscription.
