Les codes d'erreur sont list�s ci-dessous en hexad�cimal. A l'exception de quelques codes les erreurs sot signal�es avec
leur description.
La plupart des erreur du IIGS sont d�crites de la fa�on dont elles sont pr�sent�es dans les TOOLBOX. Les deux premiers digits indiquent le TOOL SET concern� et les deux derniers pr�cisent le num�ro de l'erreur ou parfois le num�ro de l'outil concern�. Les erreurs de GS/OS sont de la forme 00xx. Ces codes ont la m�me signification (ou du moins tr�s proche) que les erreurs de PRODOS 16, de SMARTPORT et du MLI PRODOS 8 Un grand merci � David Empson qui a fourni des informations sur plusieurs messages d'erreurs particuli�rement �tranges qui proviennent en fait du MAC et qui n'ont pas �t� modifi�s pour le IIGS. Ainsi les erreurs du type "Can't load package" n'ont aucun sens sur IIGS puisqu'il n'y a aucun package (par contre les premiers Macintosh en ont!). Une autre erreur telle que "Please insert disk (File manager alert)" n'a pas plus de sens car il n'y a pas ce "File manager" sur IIGS alors qu'il existe sur Macintosh. 0000 No error

002- Cmt faire l'autotest du IIgs; A quoi correspond "Error Code ___" ? | ||
Pour lancer l'autotest du IIGS rien de plus simple : pressez POMME-OUVERTE et OPTION puis allumez l'ordinateur.
Ah, il �tait d�j� allum� ? alors pressez POMME-OUVERTE OPTION et faites un Reset (CONTROL et RESET): pas une
op�ration facile pour ceux qui ont un challenge physique ou c�r�bral non ?
Pendant l'autotest, le num�ro du test (en hexad�cimal) appara�t en bas de l'�cran et est suivi de 6 z�ros. D�s que les tests sont termin�s un beep 6khz (on ne mollit pas) est �mis et l'�cran affiche le tr�s attendu message "System Good", sinon... Si un test �choue l'�cran fait appara�tre imm�diatement le message peu souhait� "System bad:" suivi par un �l�gant code � 8 digits en hexad�cimal en bas � gauche. Le code est �galement envoy� en haut � gauche en cas de probl�me dansa RAM. Au cas o� il y aurait un probl�me vid�o le code est envoy� sur le port de l'imprimante. Chez Apple quand �a merdoie on veut que vous le sachiez ! Exemple 1 : You recevez le message "System bad : 05020000" Cela indique une erreur au cours du test n�5, le test du FPI. Le 02 indique que le FPI reste bloqu� en mode rapide et ne peut pas passer en mode lent quand on lui demande. Ce test N�5 n'utilise pas les 4 derniers digits. Notas importants : Si une carte ZIPGS est install�e, non deconnect�e avec le Switch 1.4 � ON (Defeat Counter Delay), le GS bombe lors de ce test N�5. John Link a rapport� qu'une Transwarp ROM version 1.5 fait �chouer ce test. Dans les deux cas cet echec n'indique pas pour autant un dysfonctionnement. Exemple 2 : You recevez le message "System bad : 080200D4" Cela indique une erreur au cours du test n�8, qui teste la batterie RAM. Le 02 indique qu'il y a un probl�me de lecture/�criture � une adresse, le 00 suivant pr�cise que la valeur de test �tait 00 et le D4 signale que l'adresse concern�e est l'adresse $D4. LES CODES ERREUR DE L'AUTOTEST DU IIGS Ces codes ont �t� �tablis � partir d'une liste de Jeff Tarr,Jr, de APPLE IIGS TECHNICAL REFERENCE (Michael Fischer) et des IIGS TECHNOTES N�95 de Dan Strand. Les codes erreur ont 8 digits de la forme AABBCCDD. Les deux premiers digits AA indiquent toujours le num�ro du test. Les 6 autres digits varient selon les tests. Il peut y avoir des diff�rences dans l'autotest selon la version de la ROM, ainsi les premiers IIGS n'incluaient pas le test $0C. ROM Test:G

004- Quelle est l'explication � l'obtention d'un "___ error" ? | ||
D'autres codes erreurs ... qui peuvent nous �nerver !!! 0027 (ProDOS Error $27, ...)
0027 (ProDOS Error $27, ...) En tentant un acc�s sur un lecteur SCSI branch� sur un GS, il s'agit d'une erreur d'entr�e/sortie.(I/O error) Cette erreur peut indiquer qu'il y a un probl�me sur le cha�nage SCSI du genre absence de terminateur, perte d'une connexion, num�ros SCSI en conflit. Une autre possibilit� est qu'un ou plusieurs fichiers sont corrompus. Les remplacer peut r�gler ce probl�me. Vous pouvez �tre �galement � devoir repartitionner voire reformatter en bas niveeau le disque dur... (Sources : Rubywand)
0047 (ProDOS Error $47, ...) Erreur "Duplicate pathname" qui indique une tentative de cr�er un fichier qui existe d�j� ou de renommer un fichier avec un nom d�j� utilis� (pour la totalit� du nom y compris le pathname) Nota : vous pouvez avoir le fichier ou le r�pertoire PICS dans un r�pertoire PICS
�galement et vous pouvez avoir des fichiers PICS dans d'autres r�pertoires.
Cette erreur est courante lors des autos-extractions.
La solution consiste � renommer le fichier d'auto-extraction. La solution plus g�n�rale pour dupliquer des noms
consiste � cr�er un nouveau r�pertoire et � utiliser un utilitaire d'extraction plut�t que de laisser faire le
fichier auto-extracteur.
0048 ou 0049 (e.g. ProDOS Error $48, ...) Une erreur $48 "volume full" vous d�passez la capacit� maximale du volume. malheureusement cette erreur arrive �galement quand il y a trop d'entr�es dans le repertoire principal qui est limit� � 51!! Une erreur $49 "volume directory full" survient quand vous essayez de cr�er une 52�me
entr�e. Cela peut �tre source de confusion car le disque n'est pas plein, seul le r�pertoire principal est satur�...
La seule solution est de d�placer des fichiers de ce r�pertoire principal qui est le SEUL � avoir cette limite.
Dans les autres r�pertoires il n'y a pas de limites, vous pouvez avoir plus de 51 entr�es...
004B (ProDOS Error $4B, ...) "unsupported (or incorrect) storage type" Je suppose que vous �tes sur un GS et le jeu ou le programme que vous essayez d'ex�cuter est suppos� lancer un fichier qu'il ne trouve pas. Recopier le jeu ou re d�compresser les fichiers. Il est possible que la ressource ait �t� oubli�e pendant la copie. (Sources : thedm) 0051 (ProDOS Error $51, ...)"Error loading ATINIT" Ma copie 3.5 d'AppleWorks 3 a envoy� ce message (sur //c, pas moins), et j'ai essay� d'utiliser Copy ][+ 9.1 pour copier ProDOS 2.0.3 en remplacemnt du ProDOS 1.7 du disque AppleWorks. Cette erreur indique que le repertoire est endommag�. Vous devez sauvegarder vos donn�es plut�t que d'essayer de
copier le disque.
005A (ProDOS Error $5A ...) Je d�couvre que mes fichiers Appleworks ont �t� r��crits avec des 0! heureusment j'ai des copies... Quand j'essaye d'effacer le mauvais fichier et de renommer le backup j'ai l'erreur $5A. Error $5A "block number out of range" (parfois connu aussi sous le nom "baked bit-map")
signifie qu'il y a dansla bitmap un bit positionn� qui ne correspond pas � un bloc existant sur ce volume.
Vous pouvez essayez d'�crire des 0 avec un �diteur de bloc dans la bitmap pour corriger le probl�me.
0088 "network error" Pourquoi Copy II Plus et ProSel-8 sont incapables de travailler avec un volume r�seau ? R�ponse simple : Copy-II Plus et ProSel-8 font des acc�s direct aux blocs sans passer par le syst�me
de gestion de fichiers ce qui est interdit avec les volumes en r�seau et donc vous obtenez l'erreur 88
0201 "could not allocate memory" error Apr�s avoir utilis� "the installer" pour installer basic Sys6 sur le Sys 5.04 de mon disque dur, je ne peux plus ex�cuter un programme ProDOS-8. Avant que ProDOS 2.0.1 se lance il y a "Error $201", j'ai pourtant plus de 4Mo. Une erreur $0201 survient apr�s l'installation car certains utilitaires laissent des parties de bank 0 ou bank 1 allou�es. Vous avez assez de m�moire mais celle dont ProDOS 8 a besoin n'est pas disponible... Ce probl�me a �t� rencontr� apr�s avoir utilis� Find File 1.0 (inclus avec la version 6.0) et avant

Sur un systeme qui a plusieurs drives le message indique qu'il n'y a acun disque bootable Si vous �tes certain qu'un disque bootable est pr�sent v�rifier les cartes et les c�bles Sur un APPLE IIgs cela peut �galement provenir d'un Control Panel mal configur�. Par exemple le "Startup Slot" n'est pas positionn� sur le Slot associ� au drive et/ou la carte du Slot n'est pas positionn� � "Your Card". Nota: APr�s avoir chang� le param�trage des slots dans le Control Panel, pariculi�rement pour les cartes SCSI, il peut �tre n�cessaire de red�marrer l'APPLE pour la prise en compte des modifications. Dasn le cas d'un boot d'un RAMDISK sur /RAM5 soyez certain que /RAM5 est bien initialis� avant de copier les fichiers.
