Sleuth OCR

New version - now Iyonix compatible

Highly acclaimed Optical Character Recognition software for RISC OS. Previously published by BEEBUG but now by APDL - ProAction and distributed on CD. Sleuth 2 uses a less sophisticated system than Sleuth 3, but although this makes Sleuth 3 more accurate, especially with some typefaces, it's also slightly slower, so the Sleuth 3 CD contains both Sleuth 3 and Sleuth 2. Sleuth 3 can work via TWAIN drivers direct from your scanner or use images previously scanned.

Important. Upgrades from the Beebug (floppy disc) version will be available for a limited period only. Future upgrades and improvements to Sleuth will only be available to users of the APDL-ProAction version, so don't delay.

Note that to use Sleuth with a scanner you will need a suitable TWAIN driver. These are available from David Pilling or through APDL.
