If you have the 32 bit version of ProArtisan 24 (version 1.20) then a free upgrade to version 1.21 is available.

ProArtisan 24 is the latest development in the hugely successful Artisan series. Designed exclusively for the Acorn Risc PC, ProArtisan 24 is a no compromise 24 bit graphics package which provides 16.7 million colours for image creation and display.

This means that the tools provided, such as chalk, water colour, pastels etc, closely mimic their natural counterparts. These brushes can also be used to render intricate Draw paths, resulting in Draw images rendered in any brush type.

..I commend...the manual for ProArt24. It certainly tempted me to delve deeper.. It is clear that ProArtisan 24 is the next step.. PhotCD compatibility is excellent.. ..a vast number of potential effects are offered to the user, and most are easier than pie to initiate. ..the program is unparalleled in its ease of achieving the artistic effects. ..achieving a desirable effect is quicker than in other packages where gradients, masks and so on would have to be constructed first. ProArtisan 24 is an extremely well equipped program. ..the overall feeling is that ProArt 24 is a well-finished and well-rounded program..

This is a package that I really enjoyed using.. ..really usable 'fine art' tools. It is a package which will be just as much at home in the artist's studio as in the school art department or in a photo retouching lab. ..ProArtisan 24 is a package which will appeal to a very wide cross-section of image creators, enhancers and manipulators, both professional and amateur alike. It will be hard to find a package within the same price bracket with the complement of features that ProArtisan 24 sports.
