Books

We have stock of several discontinued titles and are trying to revive some which are now out of print

Prices include UK postage, which is expensive because they're heavy. If you want them cheaper come to one of the events APDL is attending and they'll be less (phone first and I'll reserve a copy). If you are ordering other items, such as a hard drive, at the same time we might be able to reduce the cost.

Outside UK carriage can be very expensive as books tend to be heavy.

Artworks Made Easy

By Roger Amos. There are always books to help you use Computer Concepts programs because the manuals are a bit difficult to get to grips with. This little book will explain a lot of the features in a logical and concise manner that anyone can understand. It's a real must, and even the experienced user will probably find things that they didn't know. Original cover price £14.95.

APDL price is just £8.50 including UK post.
Please add £2 carriage for Europe, £4 elsewhere

Impression, A Dabhand Guide

By Anne Rooney and intended to overcome the steep learning curve most people face when they get Impression and have only those cryptic manuals. Written for Impression II, but most things are applicable to Style and Publisher. Original cover price £14.95

Graphics on the ARM

By Roger Amos, a general overview of graphics on Acorn machines. Starts at the beginning, explaining how it works, and even if you're not interested in the nuts and bolts this will help you get the best out of software. Covers many popular graphics programs (including !Paint and !Draw) and goes on to simple programming techniques. Will be of interest to anyone who either uses graphics software or is interested in programming. Cover price £14.95

APDL price is just £6.90 including UK post.

Budget DTP

By Roger Amos. You might think that to produce good looking documents or notices you need expensive software, but you already have free tools which can do a lot, !Draw and !Paint. These aren't very well explained in the User Guide, and advanced features are barely touched upon. OK, no-one's pretending they can replace a package costing hundreds of pounds, but it's amazing what you can do with the software Acorn provided for nothing. Cover price £12.95

APDL price is just £3 including UK post.
Please add £1.50 carriage for Europe, £3 elsewhere
