  189.  Network App to a GC --- they are listed in the FBACKHDR.NET.

  206.  Extract the contents of the PPPSHARE.EXE into your WWIV directory.
  207.  If you desire to do so - you can register the KLOS drivers. It may be
  208.  as low as $10 for the 'IP only' version. Info is in the PPPSHARE.EXE.

  210.  Many WWIV Sysops have registered the drivers in support of Shareware.

  212.  If you are experiencing problems with KLOS drivers under Windows 95 - then
  213.  ask on the PPP Development / Support sub about the settings for the Shortcut
  214.  settings ( Win95 version of a 'PIF' file that earlier versions of Windows
  215.  used ) and set it to 'do not detect Windows'. More info on that is also in my
  216.  'WWIV and Win95 FAQ' ( on this web site... above here ). Info about several
  217.  of the WWIV Networks that the PPP Development / Support sub is on can be
  218.  found in the PPP Project FAQ.

  220.  If you are experiencing problems with KLOS drivers ( cannot load PPP, etc )
  221.  under Windows 3.1 or Windows for Workgroups, and you have asked questions on
  222.  the PPP Support / Development sub to rule out other problems with the PPP
  223.  Project --- for things to check with your BBS's configuration that may not
  224.  have been added to the FAQ yet ( I am overdue for an update to that, I hope
  225.  to get to it in Oct / Nov 1997 ) --- then please send a polite request to the
  226.  KLOS, Inc team with your registration that 'they make Windows support
  227.  available in the future versions of their software by removing their Windows
  228.  detection code from the KLOS drivers'.
