  29.  Completely uninstall FileMan Win95/NT Alpha 1 before you run this new
  30.  setup.exe. Also, delete the old \fileman directory and any remaining
  31.  leftover file contents of this directory before you run setup.exe. I
  32.  am asking this as I want to make sure this version of setup.exe is now
  33.  installing properly. :)

  40.  Ok folks here's the first release of the new Fileman.
  41.  I would strongly recommend that you allow fileman to be installed in the
  42.  \tribbs\fileman directory so it will not overwrite the dos version of
  43.  fileman.exe files during our alpha testing cycle.. We got a long way to
  44.  yet before we can replace our dos version.
  45.  
  46.  Please do not pass or give this alpha out.. These alpha updates are for
  47.  Alpha testers only!

  49.  Also, you will need to put a copy of sysdat2.dat into the new fileman
  50.  directory that points to Node 1's main directory.. Not doing so will cause
  51.  FileMan not to be able to find the TriBBS system data files.
  52.  
  53.  Finally, after Setup is complete, you will see some files in the new fileman
  54.  directory with these following extensions.. *.CNT, *.HLP, *.DLL, *.EXE. Do
  55.  Not delete any of these files or FileMan will not run properly.. The other
  56.  DLL's included with Setup.exe will be placed into your \windows\system
  57.  directory.

  59.  This first alpha will do the following:
  60.  
  61.   Save & Quit
  62.   Quit Without Saving
  63.  
  64.   Delete Files
  65.   Delete Files - Files List Only
  66.   Move Files
  67.  
  68.   Creates an index.bat file which will call makeidx.exe and master.exe at
  69.   the closing of fileman if any changes were made and allows you to select
  70.   either yes/no to perform the the reindexing. This will open in a dos shell
  71.   since these utils are still dos based. Once it is complete, then you will
  72.   have to close the dos shell.

  74.  As we progress, I will add other commands to the Menus of FileMan. However,
  75.  I don't want to rush through this as it is very important that we work out
  76.  all bugs and/or problems with the current functions first before I start
  77.  adding more code. :) Good Luck and I really hope to get some feed back from
