■ What's New in Release 2.60? ■
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
o If you do not define your fields long enough to hold a metavariable
RegPRO would blow up with an error. The documentation and sample
.CTL files have been adjusted to cover this area.
o Added ability to "overlay" forms on top of ANSI screens, adding
dramatic effects to your forms. This is now demonstrated in the
sample enclosed in the distribution archive.
o Added ability to generate customized logfile names. The default
logfile name is still REGPROx.LOG.
o New BBS drop file formats supported:
- QBBS 2.75 EXITINFO.BBS
- Remote Access Extended EXITINFO.BBS
o Two new metavariables added: User's Handle (&HANDLE)
User's Password (&PASSWORD)
o RegPRO now stores the current directory upon entry, and will
restore it upon exit.
o RegPRO now makes use of its own environment variable to find its
data and system files (SET REGPRO=C:\DOORS\REGPRO, etc).

■ What's New in Release 2.50? ■
─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
o The first phase of "Form Linking" is now in place. You can have
forms call other forms!
o METAVARIABLES! When setting up a field to default to a pre-
existing (default) string or answer, you can now use METAVARIABLES
to plug in user/BBS information.
Added in this release: User name (&NAME),
User Location (&LOCATION)
Sysop Name (&SYSOP)
Name of BBS (&SYSTEMNAME)
* The old BEFORE/AFTER screen method has been replaced by two new
keywords for the form definition (SHOWBEFORE and SHOWAFTER).
o The default button at the end of the form is now optional. If the
USEBUTTONS keyword is not specified in the .CTL file, the form will
simply complete its processing at the end of the form (unless the
user has skipped an unskippable field).
o The logfiles are now created as REGPROxx.LOG (xx = node).
o When using default (pre-existing) strings, they are now all
displayed initially when the form is processed, instead of popping
up when the user enters the field.
o Minor fix! RegPRO will now automatically clear the screen upon
exit.
