Intelec International E-Mail Network
Copyright (c) 1994 Intelec
Have you been looking to join a network and been literally frustrated by
one factor or another? I'm sure you have, I am well aware of the quality
of networks around today. Either the software used is a dog to deal with
or they're very elitist or worse, they are not what they appear to be! I
have seen nets advertising 400 + conferences and they have little or no
traffic! Others have more "red tape" than the Pentagon! Still others are
like going into a battlefield! Are you sick & tired of networks that are
NOT what they claimed to be? It can be very annoying to say the least,
but here's a possible solution. Intelec, relaying mail for over 5 years,
a network with active message bases, a network that is free and EASY to
join, a network with a friendly bunch of folks, is just what you may be
looking for! As of 10/01/94 we have over 360 members in 7 countries, and
we have 197 forums ranging from tech support to issues to plain old fun!
Intelec has been relaying since Sept 1989 and we'll be around for a long
long time. Many other networks advertise the fact that they're different
but Intelec shows it right out in the public eye. We have a fully public
NetAdmin conference for users and SysOps alike to offer up their views.
With one administrator there's no red tape or committees, issues are re-
solved faster than any other network. Problem users are dealt with much
more expeditiously than in other networks so our friendly environment is
maintained. We have more mail flow than most other networks and we keep
the quality level high. We firmly believe in respect and we don't permit
profanity or flaming in our conferences! If your users would like to ex-
change E-mail with a friendly bunch of people, join the Intelec Network!
To find out more about our great network, download our distribution file
from Salt Air, Intelec Online (numbers below) or any other quality BBS.
The file is IN_yymm.ZIP where yy and mm is the current year and month.
Example, October 94's file would be called IN_9410.ZIP. In this file are
our membership list, conference list rules, application forms and a few
other "informational" files. But this file should not be more than 60K.
Thanks for your time! I look forward to hearing from you! Cliff Watkins.
