  1. Run a:setup to install.
  2.  
  3. Private Communications Package was written to solve the problem 
  4. of transferring files from one computer location to another 
  5. without the use of floppy disks or a bulletin board program.
  6.  
  7. Each program may make (Dial Host ) or receive (Host Mode ) 
  8. phone calls.
  9.  
  10. Files to be sent are placed in the OutBox directory. Any file 
  11. in this directory is automatically sent. Files which are 
  12. received are downloaded into the InBox Directory. (More recent 
  13. files will overwrite older ones.)

  15. The program will check for files and will hang up if there is 
  16. nothing to transfer.
  17.  
  18. ZModem protocol is used for all transfers. If you are 
  19. interrupted and dial again, the transfers can resume in the 
  20. middle instead of restarting!

  22. You select your own unique passwords . These may be up to 50 
  23. characters in length. You must have the same password on each 
  24. machine.

  26. You may select Modem string information from a list of over 400 
  27. modems or customize one of the existing entries.

  29. All Settings including the password are saved to a 
  30. configuration file. Automatic Setup is performed the first time 
  31. Private Communications Package is run.

  36. Private Communications Package is Shareware. You must register 
  37. if you continue to use the program after a 30 day trial period.

  40. additional computer is $10)
