Impulse Teapot & Wave Animation August 1, 1988
==================================================
The animation in this archive was created with "Turbo Silver"
from Impulse, Inc. The Teapot object was converted from
Sculpt 3D format, using "Interchange" from Syndesis. The original
object is from the Syndesis Object disk #1.
After conversion the object was re-sized and modified in the
Turbo Silver editor. The waves under the teapot were created
with a new program from Impusle called "Terrain". In addition
to the ability to create single, and multiple animated wave
forms, "Terrain" can also create detailed mountains, peaks,
valleys, and other surfaces which can be used in both cell or
object format which can be used by "Turbo Silver" or other
rendering programs when converted using utilities like
"Interchange"
This animation was originally done in 400 line interlace overscan
mode, but was reduced to 200 line, non-interlace, normal video to
reduce the file size and download time requirements.
The only modification to the original rendered pictures was the
addition of the Impulse logo at the top using "Diamond", also
from Impulse.
To run the animation, execute the "execute.me" file to re-construct
the animation. If the "execute.me" file is missing or corrupt,
simply create a subdirectory called "TEAPOT.ANI" and copy all of
the files, named "ANIM.<n>" and the filed called "script" into the
sub-directory called "TEAPOT.ANI". To play the animation, simply
type from the root directory: "PLAYER TEAPOT.ANI".
This animation should run just fine in a 512K machine.
