This collection of late Dorset artifacts comes from a site on Dundas Island. The small human figure has a slot in the chest, containing a sliver of wood, and may have been used in connection with black magic. The other carvings include: a small wooden bear; two ivory spatulas, one of which (with skeleton markings) probably represents a stylized bear, while the other may represent a seal; a small kayak-like object; a miniature harpoon head; and an ivory carving of a ptarmigan.
