  12. Instructions for upgrading from a previous release are given below.
  13. Please see Docs.Install if you're installing NewsHound for the first time.

  15. If you have not already done so, you should upgrade to NewsBase 0.59b, from
  16. http://www.hep.umn.edu/~allan/newsbase/

  18. NewsHound upgrades will appear on:
  19. ftp://ftp.barnet.ac.uk/pub/Acorn/newshound
  20. as they're produced.

  23. Upgrading
  24. ~~~~~~~~~

  26. a) Transport:
  27.   Run !InstTrans to update the transport definition. (you don't need to
  28.     copy it out of the archive first).
  29.   
  30.   NB. If you manually installed the newsbase transport anywhere other than
  31.       !NewsDir.newsbase.transports, delete it!
  32.  
  33. b) NewsHound:
  34.   Just drag !NewsHound out of the archive over the top of your main copy.
  35.   It contains no config files, it will not wipe your current settings.
