While every attempt has been made by the author as well as the beta team,
there is no guarantee that ACFiles does not have bugs. However, any
known bugs have been fixed by the author promptly.
If you find a bug I would like to know about it as quickly as possible
so that the problem may be resolved. You will find that normally the
bug may be a configuration error. However, if it is a programming
error I can get an update to you as soon as possible. If you are a
registered sysop then I'll go into extensive searching for the bug
and will help you out with any batch files, etc.
So, if you find a bug please report it to Ray Cole at 1:382/83 or drop
a note by any of the support sites and I'll get the message and will
get to it as soon as possible. I will stand by my software as I
always have.
When making a bug report please give at least the following information:
1) The location it happens in the program. Exact wording before and
after are particularly helpful.
2) A complete description of what the problem is. In other words,
instead of stating it messes up, state what gets messed up and
so forth.
3) Indicate any other irregularities that may occur before or after
the incident or any other strange things that will happen.
4) Sometimes you may want to send your acfpath.ctl and other conf.
files that might be useful in finding the bug, particularly if
it is happening only in 1 particular area or something similiar.
When given this information the bug can usually be found within a
matter of minutes and a fix turned back to you within 12 to 24 hours
of my receiving the message.
Thank you for using ACFiles. I hope you will enjoy its power and help
promote its use.
And remember: A File System is for the transfer of files and not the
restriction of files. Help promote a free transfer file system!

Also....got a dedication here:
ACFiles 5.40 is dedicated to the beta members. Without the many
ideas and support this version would not have been possible. I
would also like to thank my father who inspired me to start this
program into the outside world.
Last and not least.....I'd like for the beta sites to be listed
somewhere with their system information. Included is a compiled
list.
