EZdesk is a utility that gives the Windows 95 user the ability to get back to the Desktop quickly and easily! The method for accessing the Desktop is configurable; the user can choose from an icon in the Tray, Taskbar and ALT/TAB menu (similar to getting back to Program Manager in earlier versions of Windows), or a shortcut key.
INSTALLATION:
Installation is simple, just double click on the SETUP icon. EZdesk will automatically install and create an icon in your Startup folder. EZdesk will be active whenever you start Windows (to disable EZdesk remove the icon from your Startup folder).
If you received the EZdesk program in a zipped archive file (e.g. EZdesk.zip), the zip file must first be uncompressed before the SETUP file can be executed.
When EZdesk is installed, it automatically assigns the F12 key as its hot key. If this key conflicts with other software, or if you simply wish to change it, right click on the EZdesk icon in the Startup folder. Choose PROPERTIES -> SHORTCUT -> SHORTCUT KEY and select a new shortcut key.
PROGRAM INSTRUCTIONS:
The method for activating EZdesk can be selected in the "Configure" screen of the program. To access this screen, right click on the EZdesk icon in the Tray or in the Taskbar and choose "Configure". As mentioned above a shortcut key can be used as well (F12 by default).
The "About" screen will provide you with your serial number, and how many more times you will be permitted to evaluate the program before it expires (unregistered version). Unregistered users will also find a button that will enable them to enter there registration number after obtaining one. Registered users will find there registration number on this screen.
The program may be terminated by right clicking on the Tray icon and choosing "Exit EZdesk" as well as choosing "Exit" from either the "About" or "Configure" screen.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REGISTERED AND UNREGISTERED VERSION:
The program as downloaded is fully functional. The unregistered version of EZdesk will allow the user to sample and evaluate the program thirty times. At the end of the evaluation period the program will continue to work with some of its options disabled. In addition, the user will have to reply to a an on screen message each time EZdesk is used. To fully enable EZdesk again the user is encouraged to register the program.

MISCELLANEOUS:
This program will only work with Explorer as the Windows shell.
Program Manager should not be running for EZdesk to work properly.
This program is designed specifically for Windows 95, it will not work with Windows 3.x or NT.
