  10. </H2><P><HR SIZE=4><H3>Email</H3><P>You can use most of Netscape’s email
  11. capability from Navigate with an Accent. If you choose New Mail Message from
  12. the File menu, the Message Composition window opens. This window allows you
  13. to send email and newsgroup messages, which can include Internet pages and
  14. disk files as attachments. <P>To access the Netscape Mail window, select Netscape
  15. Mail from the Window menu. This gives you access to all of Netscape’s
  16. email features.<P>For more information, refer to the on-line <A HREF="http://home.netscape.com/eng/mozilla/2.0/handbook/docs/atoz.html">Netscape
  17. Handbook</A> and choose Mail - Receiving and Sending Email from the Index.
  18. <H4>Sending the Current Web Page as an Attachment</H4><P><A NAME="attach">
  19. </A>If your mail client supports MAPI applications, you can send an email message
  20. that automatically includes as an attachment the Web page you are viewing.
  21. Select Mail Document from the File menu. This will run your mail client program.
  22. A new window will appear for the message. Your Web page is included as an attachment.
  23. Address the message and send. For this feature to operate, your email address
  24. and email server must be configured specifically for Accent (see <A HREF="#configure">below
  25. </A>).<H4>Mailto Links</H4><P>You can send a message by clicking a <A HREF="mailto:/">mailto
  26. </A> link or typing the email address in the <A HREF="open_eng.htm#location">Location
  27. </A> box in the format <SAMP>mailto: email address</SAMP>. Unlike using the
  28. Message Composition window, you must configure this function independently
  29. in Navigate with an Accent. To do this:<OL>
  30. <LI><A NAME="configure"></A>From the Options menu, select General Preferences.
  31. <LI>From the list box at the bottom of the Preferences box, select Miscellaneous.
  32. <LI>Fill in your Email Address and Email Server in the appropriate boxes.
  33. <LI>Click OK to close Preferences.

  35. <P>When you click on a mailto link or open a mailto address in the Location
  36. box, the Send Mail box appears. You can use this box to send regular messages.
  37. To send email with attachments, you must use the Message Composition window
  38. or the Netscape Mail window as described above.<H3><A NAME="news"></A>Newsgroups
  39. </H3><P>You can use Netscape’s newsgroup features from Navigate with an
  40. Accent. Select Netscape News from the Window menu to display the Netscape News
  41. window. For more information, refer to the on-line <A HREF="http://home.netscape.com/eng/mozilla/2.0/handbook/docs/atoz.html">Netscape
  42. Handbook</A> and choose News from the Index.<P>Although you cannot access a
  43. newsgroup by clicking directly on the news link while using Accent, you can
  44. add a newsgroup manually by opening the Netscape News window, selecting Add
  45. Newsgroup from the File menu, and typing the newsgroup’s address.
