  7. 1.1 Introduction
  8.  
  9.     This version of MathsCSYS Formulae Tester is FREEWARE. That means you can
  10.     make as many copies of the files as you like, and distribute them wherever
  11.     you please, PROVIDED ALL THE FILES ARE INCLUDED.
  12.     
  13.     The files included in this archive are:-

  15.                 MATHSYS.TOS  -  The TOS (Yeuch) version 1.03 of The Program
  16.                 READ.ME             -  This file
  17.                 CWSOFT.TXT   -  CWSoft PD Releases this Month
  18.

  20.     the address at the bottom of this document, and tell me where you got it.

  22.     ALTHOUGH THIS PROGRAM IS FREEWARE, IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE WHAT KIND OF

  28.     Registered users WILL NOT have to register future (GEM) versions of the
  29.     program, which will be Shareware (some functions will be disabled to non
  30.     registered users)

  32. 1.2 The Program
  33.  
  34.     This program is designed to help remember all those nasty formulae you have
  35.     to know for Maths Exams.
  36.     It is specifically written to cover the Syllabus of the Scottish Certificate
  37.     Of Sixth Year Studies Paper I material, though should be fairly applicable
  38.     to an A-Level or equivalent course.
  39.     
  40.     Note: The Program is NOT a replacement for good hard studying. It is intended
  41.     simply to back up your knowledge of Maths Formulae.

  43. 1.3 Using The Program
  44.  
  45.     Full details are given in the Program.
  46.     
  47.     Note: The program creates *.USR files (which will be compatable with all
  48.     future versions). These files will always be written (in the current version)
  49.     to the root directory of drive A:\. Likewise the program should always be run
  50.     from A:\. Version 1.03 is practically a replicate of v1.02B, and is extremely
  51.     old (about a year or so), so is not particularly well programmed.
  52.     
  53.     This is why I have released this version as freeware - mainly to gauge circu-
  54.     lation levels.
