  5. This file explains about the shareware registration for Becky!.
  6.  
  7. Becky! is a shareware: distribution and trial are free of charge.
  8. If you want to continue to use this software, please pay for it.
  9. Trial period is up to 30 days.

  11. * If you register ...

  13. - You will not see the shareware notification dialog any more.
  14.  
  15. - You will be notified the major version up of Becky! via E-mail.
  16.  
  17. - You will receive the information on the other products, both free
  18.   software and shareware, of RIM-Arts.

  20. * Check before the registration

  22. - You MUST have an E-mail address.
  23.  
  24.   Without an E-mail address, you can't receive a registration pass code.
  25.   "E-mail address" here means one which can receive Internet mail.
  26.   If you are, for example, a member of America Online, or whatever network
  27.   service which supports Internet mail, your E-mail address should be
  28.

  30.      YOURID@compuserve.com (CompuServe)

  33. - You MUST have one of the payment methods which are supported by Kagi
  34.   Shareware.

  38.   Cash (It is not a good idea because of the security reason and sending
  39.         cash is prohibited in some country's law.)

  51. * How to register

  53. - Run REGISTER.EXE. (REGISTER.EXE is included in the Becky!'s package.)
  54.   You can also run REGISTER.EXE from the startup dialog pushing
  55.   "Order To Kagi Shareware" button.

  57. - Fill out the information such as your name, E-mail address, number of
  58.   licenses you are purchasing, and payment method.
  59.   For more details, see REGISTER.HLP.

  61. - Send the output of REGISTER.EXE to Kagi Shareware (shareware@kagi.com).
  62.   via E-mail, postal mail or fax.
  63.   Please do NOT send it to me directly.
  64.  
  65. - You will receive a confirmation of the payment and a registration pass
  66.   code via E-mail. Generally, It takes less than a week to receive it.
  67.   Fax order takes a few days more.
  68.   Long weekend, heavy network traffic, etc., may cause a several days
  69.   delay.
  70.   If you do not receive a reply in two weeks, please contact me.

  73. - Run Becky! and push "I have paid and got a pass code." button on the
  74.   startup dialog.
  75.   You can also register from "User Registration" in the "Help" menu.

  77. - Fill out the information: your name, registration pass code and E-mail
  78.   address, and push "OK".
