  11. I'll be in California, home of the weird, between Nov. 13 and Dec. 2,
  12. on a business trip, but with weekends off for good behavior.

  14. I'm working up in Auburn (east of Sacramento), but I'll be making 
  15. weekend visits to Santa Rosa to see my sister Alice and a friend
  16. there, and to SF to see my brother Matt and other friends.  If things
  17. go _really_ well, I might be able to collect on my invitation to
  18. visit the good Dr. Shulgin and tour his lab.  (Yes, shameless gloating.)
