- Of course, they planned on having "government" armies, but they were aware,
- through thorough study of history that the first act of all tyrants was an
- attempt to disarm the populace. The simple act of formalizing the RKBA for
- the *individual* denied the ability for any tyrant under the Constitution
- to even begin this action without the populace being aware of that danger;
- while at the same time giving them the ability to resist the attempt (with
- force if necessary).

- BTW, your contention that the SC has ruled the militia *only* argument as
- valid is entirely wrong. The cases they have ruled on only denied the defense
- in that specific claim by the defendent which they have heard.
