  30. Probability doesn't enter into it.  The proposition "a fetus is
  31. a person" is either true or false.  It's not a 0.5 chance that it's
  32. true - its 1 or 0.  You can't flip ten fetuses and count how many
  33. of them come up people, elizabeth.

  36. functional _future_ not count for as much a functional _past_?  What 
  37. has memory got to do with personhood?  Sounds like an utterly abitrary 
  38. criterion to me.  Is an amnesiac a person?
