- DEC told me the same story. I had a batch job with 4 days of CPU time
- so rebooting wasn't an option. They sent me CSCPAT_0245017.
- It creates SYS$MANAGER:CSCPAT_0245_USE_WITH_CAUTION_MTDISMOUNT.EXE
- which they said would either fix the problem or crash the system.

- They also sent CSCPAT_0253 which should fix the problem for the future.

- I was able to fix the problem by changing the address of the drive and simply
- using the new drive number (HSC connected TA90 clone) so I didn't try the
- "use with caution" image.
