- I, too, heartily recommend anything by Rychlak. In addition, (I have
- mentioned these names before) folks like Ricoeur (sp?), Polkinghorne,
- and especially Weimer offer very useful views on the meta-theoretical
- aspects of what science is, isn't or might be. A book more directly
- related to psychology and therapy is Michael Mahoney's *Human Change
- Processes.* A relatively easy read, broad in scope, and very useful
- for practicing clinicians especially.
