- I don't know about hard disks, but NeXTstation (Color) has
- a big heak sink for the power supply facing down, fins almost
- touching the desk surface. I think proper cooling of the
- power supply relies on air going through the channels formed
- by the fins and the desktop surface.

- If you position slabs vertically, you probably should attach
- a plate on the bottom so they cover the fins and the air is
- channeled through the fins.
