  26. It looks like the Republican party really is calling for a ban on all
  27. abortions. If this passed (which is surely impossible), women with
  28. ectopic pregnancies would be doomed to a painful death. About 1% of
  29. pregnancies in this country are ectopic, and survival of untreated
  30. (read unaborted) ectopic pregnancies is extremely rare.

  32. I still can't believe that even the most extreme fanatic could intend
  33. this particular result, though. What could possibly be wrong, in ANYBODY's 
  34. book, with saving the life of the mother in cases where the loss of the 
  35. embryo's life is inevitable?

  37. Is there anybody out there who honestly believes that even ectopic
  38. pregnancies should not be aborted?
