  15. Simple - my motif-GUI image processing program has a private 256 color
  16. colormap.  I want to add an option to load/save so that users don't
  17. have to go through the hassle of creating a specific colormap every time.

  19. The only thing I've thought of is saving them the way SGI does in a 
  20. 'rather boring' 256 lines - of - r - g - b values...  I suppose this
  21. is nice because a user can edit the file and change things easily,
  22. but why not use my neat program? ;-)

  24. Does anyone have a 'better' way - (i.e. space).
