  4. the Public Domain fonts called GRK and HBR.

  25. major new releases.  The next release will be a complete set of 
  26. Windows bitmap fonts for Windows and the Mac so that the text is 
  27. more readable on the screen when using 8 to 14 point type.  The cost 
  28. will be $10 per font for the bitmaps for each operating system.

  31. File Descriptions
  32. GRK0____.PFB  -   This greek font resembles NA26.  It is of moderate
  33. GRK0____.PFM      weight, as is NA26, and has all accent combinations.
  34. GRK0____.TTF      This font is copyrighted.

  38. HBR0____.PFB  -   This Hebrew font resembles the typestyle in BHS.  It
  39. HBR0____.PFM      contains all the vowels and vowel/accent combinations
  40. HBR0____.TTF      for normal width letters.  The letters all space
  41.                   automatically.  If you are not interested in accents
  42.                   you should use this font.

  44. HBR1____.PFB  -   This is the second part of HBR0____ as there are too many
  45. HBR1____.PFM      characters to fit in one font.  This is identical to HBR0
  46. HBR1____.TTF      except all vowel and vowel/accent combinations are for
  47.                   half width letters.

  53. GRK_____.PFB  -   Public domain greek font.  This is fairly light in 
  54. GRK_____.PFM      weight, and resembles a symbol type font.  Feel free
  55.                   to give copies of this to anyone who wants it.

  57. HBR_____.PFB  -   Public domain hebrew font.  This font resembles the
  58. HBR_____.PFM      typestyle in BHS. It contains all vowels and accent 
  59.                   combinations.  You must manually space after each
  60.                   character (read the HBR.WRI file)

  63. NOTE:
  64. The files ending in .PFB and .PFM are the Adobe Type 1 fonts.
  65. The files ending in .TTF are Windows 3.1 True Type fonts.

  67. If you use HBR0 and HBR1 True type fonts, there is a problem with the 
  68. screen display.  For example, if you type "he" with HBR0, switch to
  69. HBR1 and type "segol" and then "nun" and then switch back to HBR0 again,
  70. the segol will not appear on the screen, yet prints fine.  The problem is
  71. that Windows does not overstrike two different fonts over top of each other
  72. very well.  A solution is to be a aware when a half width letter is the
  73. next character and switch to HBR1 one character before the half width
  74. character (typing from left to right).   For example, using the above
  75. illustration,  switch to HBR1 before you type the "he" then type in 
  76. "segol" and "nun."  This is a bit of a pain, but when the automatic
  77. text retrieval tools are done, then you won't have to bother with this
  78. at all.  The HBR0 and HBR1 Adobe fonts do not have this problem, just 
  79. the HBR0 and HBR1 TrueType fonts.

  83. really computer programs.  The forms of the letters and bitmap fonts
  84. are not copyrightable.
