- Mine hums all the time. But it also hisses when I am low on gas. If it
- is going to fail soon, I don't know.

- All I know is that it works, fan or no fan. With the car idling, tempture
- rises. Bring the revs up a little and down the tempture goes. Ditto on other
- cars I have driven in the same circumstances (hot, hilly, highways).
