-
- I have a 90 GTi 1.8 8v and I get about 30 MPG ( mostly highway
- miles) to about 27 MPG ( mostly city miles).Recently, I have noticed some
- low points of about 26 MPG( mostly highway miles) but mainly I get high
- 20's overall. Unless your driving purely in the city, that does seem a
- little low.
-
- My GTi has been farily consistent. I calculate my fuel economy
- after every fill up and have never gotten any numbers less than 26 and I
- give my car quite a workout.
