- Actually, I wasn't indicating my dislike for PC language. I was
- indicating my irritation at people saying that someone is very
- pc for using terms that show awareness of the social injustices
- reflected in other terms. My point was that using terms that are
- considered "p.c." can be a manifestation of the speaker's sincere
- desire to be fair and just. The kind of document you are describing,
- however, sounds sort of extreme. I would probably object to it,
- because it sounds like an attempt to legislate something that ought
- to result from an *attitude*, a sincere one.
- Why don't you post this document, so we don't have to ftp it. If
- anyone objects, we can supply instructions on using the delete key.
