  21. Actually, I wasn't indicating my dislike for PC language.  I was
  22. indicating my irritation at people saying that someone is very
  23. pc for using terms that show awareness of the social injustices
  24. reflected in other terms.  My point was that using terms that are
  25. considered "p.c." can be a manifestation of the speaker's sincere
  26. desire to be fair and just.  The kind of document you are describing,
  27. however, sounds sort of extreme.  I would probably object to it,
  28. because it sounds like an attempt to legislate something that ought
  29. to result from an *attitude*, a sincere one.
  30. Why don't you post this document, so we don't have to ftp it.  If
  31. anyone objects, we can supply instructions on using the delete key.
