  20. Peter's point was meta-etiquette, in that his sysman seemed to think
  21. that the whole words-l list was inappropriate to Peter's university;
  22. the signature question was local to the group itself.  Anyway, no-one
  23. told him to change it.  We merely pointed out that he'd be taken for
  24. an asshole if he left it.  As it turns out, it wouldn't have made
  25. any difference.
