- Peter's point was meta-etiquette, in that his sysman seemed to think
- that the whole words-l list was inappropriate to Peter's university;
- the signature question was local to the group itself. Anyway, no-one
- told him to change it. We merely pointed out that he'd be taken for
- an asshole if he left it. As it turns out, it wouldn't have made
- any difference.
