  30. As Sheizaf has indicated, we've had an extraordinary response to the
  31. invitation to join us. The degree of interest is, I believe, as much a
  32. reflection on the substantial progress we've made so far as in the
  33. topic per se.

  35. To date we've had more than 120 people contact us from Australia,
  36. Canada, Denmark Finland, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel,
  37. Netherlands, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Switzerland,
  38. United Kingdom and the United States (and the deluge continues).
  39. Many have joined us already. Welcome, it's great to have you with us.

  48. The pretest codings continue to flow in. We're holding off on the
  49. reliability measures to give new members a chance to work on the
  50. pretest messages and comment on the codebook. If you've just joined and
  51. missed the repost of the codebook and messages, please contact Sheizaf
  52. or me. We want to be sure you are using the latest version of the
  53. codebook.

  55. I want to thank the people who have commented both privately and
  56. publicly on the codebook. The comments have pinpointed some fuzzy
  57. definitions and will help us to perfect the codebook for actual coding.
  58. For pretesting, though, we will continue to use the less-than-perfect
  59. codebook.
