  12. We use SYBACK at Merrill Lynch, both for our normal backups and restores
  13. and for disaster recovery.  We converted from VMBACKUP several years ago
  14. when we moved the data center, because SYBACK was so much faster (VMBACKUP
  15. may be faster than it was, but I have no figures on it).  By coincidence,
  16. I just ran a disaster recovery test at an alternate site this last weekend,
  17. and we restored a total of 160 3380E and 3390-3 volumes in 6.5 hours!  We are
  18. *very* happy with SYBACK as a backup/restore tools for both daily and
  19. disaster purposes.  We use VMSECURE and VMTAPE, and SYBACK works well with
  20. them.
