  18. I think some other folks (Peter?) had mentioned finding this one much 
  19. harder to get into than later works. I'd say that I think the later
  20. ones (HEATWAVE and UZED come more to mind than CEUX DU DEHOURS) have
  21. more guitar and are somewhat more accessible, but it's been argued
  22. that 1313 and maybe even the entire output of the band is NOT anything
  23. to do with rock music. To me if it has searing guitarwork and manic
  24. drumming it's got some relationship to the rock medium, but that's IMHO.
