  14. You already know (from other answers) that this is being caused by
  15. Easy Access, which kicks in when you press the shift key five times
  16. in a row.

  18. The solution is NOT to disable Easy Access.  Easy Access is useful for
  19. other things.  The best solution is to use some other key for the
  20. STRIKE key.  PoP responds equally well to SHIFT, OPTION, CONTROL, and
  21. the KEYPAD-ZERO keys.  (and maybe COMMAND as well).  I use keypad-zero
  22. so I can play the game one-handed.  Using two hands in an action game
  23. makes my shoulders hurt.
