  10. I am currently working on a Silicon Graphics Crimson workstation running IRIX
  11. 4.0.5 operating system. I use a FORTRAN program which output a file which
  12. contains line printer vertical carriage control characters in column 1. I use   
  13. the program lptops to convert the file to postscript for printing on a Apple
  14. laserwriter. My problem is the carriage control characters are not recognized
  15. by the lptops program. Does anyone know how I can convert the carriage control
  16. characters to something that lptops can understand?
