  18. No they don't!  Coventry's attempt at a ring-road is a complete disaster;
  19. there's hardly enough distance for cars to get on to it, while avoiding
  20. those crossing their paths to get off it.  The only other one I know
  21. that's worse is Reading, which is built to the same plan, but was only
  22. ever half-completed; for a long time one flyover section just stopped
  23. in mid-air!

  25. BTW, I don't dislike the rest of Coventry, but I think anyone who picks
  26. out the road system as a "feature" must be thinking of a different city!
