- The earthquake that I posted information for turned out to
- be the only one in the hypocenter data base for the state
- of New Mexico in the years 1943 and 1944. I'm sorry, but
- that's all we've got here.

- I got an EMAIL from someone reading a cross-posting to
- another group reguarding this area. He told me that this
- is in the area of the "Carthage Site". This is a magma
- body that is moving toward the surface. He wondered if
- this quake might be related to this. He suggested the
- geology department at New Mexico Tech as a possible
- source of info. The New Mexico State Geological Survey
- might also be a good source. Don't forget to check the
- newspapers in the area you are interested in.

- Oh, the event location being accurate to within 0.5
- degrees is roughly the same as within 34 miles.
