  21. I know my company has been hiring a FEW geologists and geophysicists
  22. out of school each of the last few years.  Because they hire so few, they 
  23. look for the *cream of the crop* and they pay for it.  Starting salaries are
  24. reputed to be as much or more than I make after 7 years on the job.  So 
  25. much for experience.
