- I know my company has been hiring a FEW geologists and geophysicists
- out of school each of the last few years. Because they hire so few, they
- look for the *cream of the crop* and they pay for it. Starting salaries are
- reputed to be as much or more than I make after 7 years on the job. So
- much for experience.
