  14.   My mistake, the term "snail mail" up here refers to the postal system,
  15. as they are so speedy.......  More than glad to pass my address along,

  19. quiet, have not been very busy the last few days, would like to keep it

  21.   Our department is a 40 man, paid-on-call department.  We run two
  22. stations with three 1500 gpm pumpers, one 85 ft aerial tower (1000 gpm
  23. pump), four rescue squads, one heavy rescue/command truck, one 4x4
  24. truck, and a couple of cars/vans for inspections.  The community is
  25. about 15 miles south of Lake Erie (one of the Great Lakes) and has a
  26. population of about 32,000. Primarily a residential community with a
  27. still "rural" atmosphere (at least that is what the brochure says).  We
  28. run about 1200 to 1300 calls a year with most of that being EMS
  29. related.
