  14.     I am having problems with annotation in editimage. I am running
  15. Khoros 1.5 on a Sun Sparc 2 Under openwindows. I don't know what release of
  16. the operating system I am running or how to find out. Also I am not sure
  17. what release of openwindows I am running.
  18.     My environment variable DISPLAY=:0.0
  19.  
  20. Whenever I try to place text annotation either by mouse(when it is moved into
  21. the display) or instantly when place by keybord and create text is clicked
  22. i get the following message
  23. in the c-shell window where i started editimage with the following command:
  24. editimage -i /tmp/r2v -update 2 &

  34. Is there a simple fix for this problem?

  37.     Problem two using mkernels from within cantata. The list of supplied
  38. kernels kd[1235].mor did not come with my distribution tape. However their
  39. is the kernel square5.mor which i can't seem to be able to use. Morpho Kernels
  40. is selected from INPUT SOURCES , Input Data FIle menu. Click on select kernel
  41. , choose square5.mor from file listing. Turn on Select Kernel Button. Cannot
  42. turn off select button for Supplied Standard Morphokernels. Glyph and
  43. connect to vmopen. Look at menu of vmopen and the morpho kernel is the
  44. highlighted Supplied Standard. How do I get mkernels to use a user
  45. specified file?
