- Hi everybody,
-
- I am new to Khoros and I have 2 main questions :
-
- 1)
- I am trying to use Khoros on a Cray Y-MP2E/116 running Unicos 6.1.
- After the first tentative of installation, many actions such as
- clicking on OUTPUT in a window produced an exit with the "operand
- range error : core dumped" message. After recompiling the soft
- without optimization option, it seems to work better but there are
- still problems. So, I would like to discuss with somebody who has
- experience in installing and using Khoros on a Cray or better, on
- a Cray YMP.
- Is anybody concerned ?
-
- 2) I am interested in knowing whether it is possible with Khoros
- to move interactively (or through a simple procedure) an object in
- the 3D-space. I had a look at the "heart" example of Khoros. This
- doesn't feed my needs. The "heart" example displays successively
- a certain number of images producing an animation-like effect. I
- don't have images of my object, I only have his description in
- (x,y,z) coordinates and I would like to rotate it with the intention
- of analyze it from different view points.
- Has anyone found something like that in Khoros or written a procedure
- to do that ?
-
- Any help on those two topics will be greatly appreciated.
-
- Thanks in advance.
-
- Muriel.
