  20. I heard recently that the company that made the series (and also
  21. 'Dangermouse', 'Count Duckula', 'Toad of Toad Hall') and many others
  22. [Cosgrove Hall ] has just recently had to lay off 40 of it's staff due
  23. to no orders.  It seems that US "Animation" (for want of a better
  24. word) is too readily available over here and hence no one wants to buy
  25. the their stuff as it's too expensive.  ALl the people laid off were
  26. animators as well.

  28. Unfortunate news for the possibility of a sequel.  This news was on
  29. Radio 4's 'Today' programme about 4 weeks back, so HOPEFULLY the
  30. situation may have changed, but I doubt it...
