- Fairy Tale. Summary (missing some function words , but what to expect from
- Linguistics Major? Also missing much of the storytelling that can make this
- story good, but am in hurry)
- Youngest Daughter of poor family goes and lives with a bear in exchange for
- family getting food. Promises never to look at bear at night. She does &
- drops candle wax on his shirt while discovering that he is handsome young
- Prince @ night & bear in day. He wakes up & has to regretfully go away &
- she has to find him. Where is he? East of the Sun & West of the Moon. The
- North Wind takes her there. She manages to rescue him from marriage with
- Troll Princess by washing the candle wax out of his shirt. (Only a human
- (or in some versions, Christian) girl could possibly manage. Spots get
- bigger when Troll Princess tries.) Youngest Daughter marries Prince. The
- end.
