- Okay, my two cents....
-
- I prefer Pratchett for two reasons:
-
- (i) Pratchett comes out with more books per year.
-
- (ii) Pratchett seems to actually _like_ his characters. Even if Rincewind
- _did_ get sucked into the Dungeon Dimensions, he didn't have every
- possible instance of his existence ended! If you wonder what I'm
- talking about, go read Mostly_Harmless. M_H is a good book but I
- really really hated the ending. (Maybe he shouldna finished it on
- a plane like TP points out. Could be the nasty airplane food cramped
- him and put him in a nasty mood.) Anyway, I guess I just prefer
- Pratchett because he seems more likely to have a happy ending while
- Adams makes Vonnegut look like the happy-go-lucky type.
-
- Now that I've gotten hold of the address of an import dealer, I can feasibly
- get some overseas Pratchett books! Now if I can just get my hands on some
- money.......
